BeachFit does NOT take place on the beach, but it WILL help you get your body beach ready! It is similar to our FTX program, but without the barbells. In BeachFit, we focus more on burning fat, building cardiovascular endurance, improving core strength, and increasing flexibility. This program includes some of the same strength elements of our FTX program; like kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, and bodyweight movements. BeachFit is great for those who feel they need to get in shape, or simply prefer a more cardio-focused routine more than building strength. These classes are 45 minutes long from start to finish and include a specific warmup, workout of the day, and a cool down.
FTX is FitTown’s signature cross-training program that combines strength training, bodyweight training, and conditioning. FTX focuses on functional, full-body exercises that will help you get in the best shape of your life and make you feel strong, confident, and capable. Every day is different so you will break through plateaus and never get bored. You’ll practice and learn challenging movements like barbell power cleans, rope climbs, and Concept 2 ski erg. Don’t worry though, every movement is scalable for any age and ability level. All you need to do is show up with a positive attitude and give your full effort each day. 3-4 times per week we perform a dedicated strength or skill work block, prior to the workout of the day. Each class is 60 minutes long and includes a coach led warm up, workout of the day, and cool down.
